Compositing Program
Level up your compositing skills this summer with our 4-week intensive training program in Nuke, designed for aspiring VFX artists who want to master the essential techniques used in the industry.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Over the course of 20 sessions, participants will dive deep into Nuke, the industry-standard software for visual effects compositing. From the fundamentals to real-world shot integration, you’ll follow a hands-on, project-based curriculum that includes:
Week 1 – Foundations
- Nuke interface & navigation
- Node-based workflow essentials
- Roto & Paint techniques with practical exercises
Week 2 – Tracking & Merge
- 1-point, 2-point, 4-point, and planar tracking
- Masking and merge tools
- Tracking lab to evaluate real-world application
Week 3 – Shot-based Project Work
- Lighting and color techniques
- Choose your own project:
▸ Muzzle Flash | Logo Replacement | Screen Burn-In - Project development, tracking, R&D, and preparation
Week 4 – Final Integration
- Color grading and depth of field
- Regraining, interactive lighting
- Final project delivery using Nuke’s Write node

Tuition & Payment Schedule
The total tuition is $902.55 ($785.00 + taxes).
It is split into two payments of $451.28:
1st payment due: July 7, 2025
Final payment due: on or before July 21, 2025
Failure to submit payment by the due date may result in the loss of your seat.
