Be Currently enrolled in Grade 12 (or equivalent) at a secondary school within British Columbia, or have graduated no more than two years prior to the program start date.

Be at least 18 years old by the program start date or have successfully graduated from high school.
Show a clear interest in VFX, Compositing, FX/Houdini, animation, film-making, game cinematics or related digital arts.

Tell us about your interest in VFX, animation, or film. What draws you to this field, and what do you hope to create or contribute? Please also share any challenges you’ve faced (financial, personal, or educational) and how this scholarship would help you pursue your goals.
5–10 pieces of creative work (links to a website, ArtStation, Vimeo/YouTube, Google Drive, etc.) Portfolio can include: digital art, traditional art, short films, animation, photography, game mods or 3D work. *School projects are welcome. Rough or in-progress work is okay if it helps show how you think and learn.
From a teacher, counselor, mentor, or employer who can speak your character, work ethic, and potential (PDF or email).
An unofficial transcript is acceptable. *We are more interested in effort and improvement than perfect marks.
The $4,000 scholarship will be applied directly toward tuition for a full-time 12-month Campus VFX program. It is not redeemable for cash.
The recipient must: Successfully complete the standard admissions process, and Enroll in the specified intake of a 12-month program. *If the student defers or withdraws, the scholarship may be postponed or re-awarded at the school’s discretion.
Maintain good standing (attendance, participation, and progress) throughout the program. Continued eligibility may be contingent on professional conduct and effort.
The scholarship recipient may be asked to: Allow Campus VFX to share their name, a short bio, and selected work samples for promotional or celebratory purposes (website, social media, brochures). This will always be done respectfully and in consultation with the student.
